Bio - Regine Anderson I have been involved in some form of dance since I was in grade one. My father was not a dancer but believed that the exercise of dancing would be good for building muscles. I was initially introduced to ballet, scottish dancing and tap, and later some ballroom. In my junior high school years, I learned square dancing and danced with the teen square dance club in Comox BC. I came back to Square Dancing in 1978, where I met my "angel" Ron. With him I took round dance lessons in 1979 and we started teaching in 1986. We taught new dancers through easy Phase 3 until Ron's death in 1995. Later that year I started learning to cue so I could continue teaching our two round dance clubs, the Peachland Connectors and the R&R Rounders. I am the club cuer for the Penticton Squares, Penticton BC and Westsyde Squares, West Kelowna BC I have cued at BC Festivals, Canadian National Conventions, Washington State Festivals and the US National Square Dance Convention in Portland OR 2005. I am a member of the Okanagan Caller's and Cuer's Association and the Canadian Western Dance Instructors Association. I am a 27 year of Roundalab. In my free time, I like to sew, do cross stitch and read. I have recently retired from full time work and I am also the proud grandmother of three wonderful children and godmother to a great kid.
